“ Life is like a camera, you just have to focus on what’s important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don’t turn out – just take another shot” – Unknown. This sentence is my motto and an inspiration of my life and my art – be patient, passionate and you will receive marvelous results beyond your expectations and dreams.”

Lee Kuzi, a Roosevelt Island resident and a member of Gallery RIVAA, was born in Israel and raised in several continents: Israel, Thailand & New York. Lee is a “citizen of the world”, traveling around it since she was 5 weeks old.

After her service duty as a former Israeli Air Force soldier, Lee continued her backpacking travels around the world, exploring the diversity of the world’s magnificent landscapes, cultures and its beauty. Traveling led to Lee’s inspiration for her artwork, capturing the precious moments of life through her camera.

Lee started painting at the age of 6 years old and than continued with her passion for sculpting, drawing, designing and photography.

Lee graduated with a BFA degree majoring in Interior Design at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in 2006, and won an international logo award on her logo design in “Wolda (Worldwide Logo Design) in 2010 design competition”.

After working in a large-scale architectural firms for 10 years in New York & Israel, Lee established her own practice in 2009 back in Israel and than moved back to New York City and opened her practice in New York in 2012 - where she combines her art and design skills.
