Kichi Liang is a New York artist, professional painter and fashion designer. Kichi was born in Beijing started learning fine art at 5 years old. When she was 14, she had her first one-person show in Beijing. In the early 80 s, Kichi lived in France and Germany, studying oil painting and western art, where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art. In the 90 s, she moved to the United States, settling in New York. Kichi has exhibited in France, Germany, the United States and China and has have participated in many international art exhibitions and won several gold and silver awards at art competitions in Europe, the United States, China, Japan and South Korea. Her art can be found in United States, China, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea and other countries in museums, galleries, art institutions, and personal collections.
Kichi’s art is fine blend of Western and Chinese painting. Her work assimilates expressionist painting and fashion design elements, making a bold composition, leaving a deep impression. Kichi’s painting combines gorgeous vibrant color, which makes people feel the passion and power of sincere and full, aesthetic emotion. Her technique is flexible with bold brushwork, not only focusing on traditional techniques and materials. She inadvertently conveys the trace of Oriental painting and aesthetic feelings in her images.
